If it takes a village to raise a child, then we have one for you! Clement Moms offers social, spiritual and educational support as you begin and continue the momentous journey of motherhood. In addition to a plethora of fun and creative events, including moms’ nights out, playgroups, kids’ holiday parties, wine and chat gatherings, brunches, etc., the group also organizes volunteer opportunities and spiritual retreats for parish mothers. Clement Dads offers social, spiritual, and volunteer opportunities for the fathers of Saint Clement, especially for those new to fatherhood but all are welcome!
Most of our activities are designed to give dads quality time with their kids and one another. Two of our hallmark events are Clement Dads & Tots Open Gym on winter weekend mornings and Dads’ Monthly Dinners. Clement Dads also support the larger tot parties along with the Clement Moms group.
As a member of Clement Dads, you'll be invited to join the Clement Dads group on our parish web portal, a tool that connects dads online in a secure environment. The portal contains our event calendar, member profiles, and more.

Clement Couples welcomes married couples of the parish to minister to and support one another, sharing faith, fun, and friendship. Clement Couples is an umbrella group that also includes:
- CFM at Saint Clement Parish
- Saint Clement's Pre-Cana Program
What is Clement Couples?
In 2004, the pastor at the time Fr. Tom Hickey gathered several couples to discuss ways that Saint Clement can better serve and support married couples in the parish. Clement Couples is a coordinated, intentional effort to involve married couples in the life of our parish community. For more information, send us an email.
Pre-Cana Host Couples
In the Saint Clement Pre-Cana program, five or six engaged couples gather for four sessions led by two host married couples in the home of one of the host couples. This ministry is very important for the engaged couples as they prepare for marriage (not just a wedding), and enriching for the host couples, as they are reminded constantly of what it takes to keep a marriage happy and healthy. Training for new host couples is provided; new host couples are invited to sign up in the fall for the following year.
Welcome and Hospitality
The Welcome & Hospitality Committee is a group of enthusiastic, committed parishioners that was formed to create an ongoing spirit of hospitality and welcome in the parish. We host a number of events throughout the year to welcome new parishioners and offer them the opportunity to meet other parishioners and become more involved in the life of the parish. Our group meets regularly to plan events and discuss how the parish can be a more welcoming Catholic community.
Some events we host are:
- the annual welcome dinner in January
- quarterly new parishioner receptions
- Plaza Hospitality after Sunday morning Masses
- welcome and hospitality functions at various parish events
Watch the bulletin for upcoming events. Newly registered parishioners will receive invitations shortly before each event.
Saint Clement Parish's youth group is open to current 8th graders and High School students who are eager to learn more about Christ and wish to serve others. The Youth Group generally meets every other week at the Fahey Building from 5 pm to 7pm. Dinner is provided. See below for our 2014-15 calendar.
Young Adult Community (YAC)
In recognition of the Saint Clement church mission and vision, the Young Adult Community (YAC) is an inclusive community of parishioners in our 20's and 30's on a journey of faith in Jesus Christ. We grow in faith through engaging in the liturgy, deepening relationships, serving one another and the greater community, and gratefully sharing with others the gifts we have each been given.
We have various spiritual, service, and social opportunities to be involved with so feel free to read below to learn about some of our upcoming events. Details on our ongoing events are listed towards the end.
Our Young Adult Board consists of fourteen young adult parishioners and our staff liaison, Christina Bax. The Board is excited to welcome you into the YAC community. Read More.
The Next Chapter
The Next Chapter meets every first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the parish office. The Next Chapter is the divorce ministry at Saint Clement. This ministry concentrates on the healing of those who are either divorced or in the process of going through divorce. Along with prayer, discussion and sharing the intent of this ministry is to help those going through divorce which, with the loss of death, is the most traumatic highest stressor you can experience.
